These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lionmoves.com and any moving services provided by Lion Moves LLC ("Lion Moves," "we," "us"). By using this website or booking a move, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking & Quotes
- Quotes provided online or by phone are estimates based on the information you supply. Final charges are based on actual hours worked at the quoted hourly rate.
- A booking is confirmed when you receive written or verbal confirmation from a Lion Moves dispatcher.
- Same-day bookings are subject to crew availability.
2. Pricing
- All moves are billed at our flat hourly rate (minimum one hour) as quoted at time of booking.
- We do not charge fuel fees, stair fees, or long-carry fees.
- Included in every move: wardrobe boxes, moving blankets, shrink wrap, packing tape, floor protection, and basic furniture disassembly/reassembly.
- Additional materials (specialty boxes, crating) are priced separately and disclosed before purchase.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled move: no charge.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee equal to one hour of the quoted rate.
- Rescheduling is accommodated at no charge subject to availability.
4. On-Time Guarantee
We commit to a 15-minute arrival window. If our crew arrives more than 15 minutes late, the first 30 minutes of labor are free.
5. Liability & Claims
- Lion Moves is fully licensed (CAL-T 191824) and insured (DOT 2940123).
- Claims for damaged or lost items must be submitted in writing within 9 months of the move date, per California law.
- Our liability is limited to the lower of repair cost or replacement value of damaged items, subject to our insurance coverage.
- We are not liable for items packed by the customer, items of extraordinary value not disclosed at time of booking, or pre-existing damage.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Ensure parking and access are available at both origin and destination.
- Disclose any items requiring special handling (antiques, pianos, safes, hazardous materials) at time of booking.
- Hazardous materials (flammables, chemicals, firearms) cannot be transported.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the move. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and Zelle. A processing fee may apply to credit card payments.
8. Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes. We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content may change without notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in Orange County, California.
